My Edward Elric cosplay

This is my cosplay of Edward Elric for A-kon. it was my first time to A-kon and it was a lot of fun! sorry it took so long to upload the picture, after i got back we went to the Kerrville Folk Festival for a week and now i'm sick but i got around to doing it! *cough cough cough* ok enough yelling. everyone kept calling me shorty there... it was funny yet irritating because im called shorty even when im not cosplaying Ed...with the boots on i was probably about 5'3......your laughing aren't you?.....WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING A GRAIN OF RICE YA PIECE OF HORSE SHIT!?!?!?!?!?! I WILL KICK YOUR HEAD OFF AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cough! cough! cough! cough!* dammit......
ok, probably the first thing you saw in the picture was the automail arm, so I'll tell you about that first. just so you know, I DID NOT BUY IT! I SPENT FOUR MONTHS MAKING THE CONTRAPTION THAT MELTED MY ARM FROM THE HEAT! ok now that that's said i refuse to take full credit for the arm. most of the credit goes to Amethyst Angel ( [link] )for taking the time to be the fist to make the arm. and if it wasn't for her, i would've had no idea how to make it. thanks so much for putting up with me!!! I made it with styrene plastic with silver PVC vinyl wrapped around it. for more details go to the link. [link] [link]
i bought the wig off Ebay and it turned out to be way to long so one of are friends that cuts hair for a living fixed it up some. then i used elmur's glue and some trusty Duct tape to make the piece of hair stick up. i simply used duct tape and silver rings for the shoes. cloths were bought.
i think that's it for making the cosplay. i'm not gonna say much about A-kon other than IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! *cough cough cough!* ok i'm gonna go rest now so i can start my next cosplay soon. hehehehe.....i'm gonna try to top this one!
